Know Your Flow and Head Requirements First
Every pump selection starts with two numbers: the flow rate you need (m³/h or L/min) and the total head the pump must overcome (m). Flow is how much water your application consumes; head is the sum of the vertical lift, pipe friction and any pressure you need at the outlet. Never select a pump by tank size alone – always calculate both figures.
Match the Pump Type to the Application
- Clean water, low head, portable duty – a QDX submersible pump is ideal for tanks, ponds, basements and light irrigation.
- Water supply and pressure boosting – an ISW centrifugal pump delivers stable pressure for homes, hotels and small industrial systems.
- Wastewater and sewage – a WQ sewage pump handles solids and fibres reliably with guide rail installation.
- Borehole and deep wells – a QJ multistage pump lifts water from depths up to 300 m with high efficiency.
- Shallow wells and garden use – a JET self-priming pump is simple, reliable and easy to service.
Check Medium, Power Supply and Installation
Confirm the liquid is compatible with the pump materials, the voltage/frequency matches your site, and the pump fits the installation space. When in doubt, send us your duty point (flow, head, medium, power supply) and our engineers will recommend the correct model and size.
